The Chinese American Environmental Professionals Association (CAEPA) is very excited to launch our Mentorship Program for the 2^nd year (Year 2022-2023)!

 

Mentorship Program Introduction:

• CAEPA Mentorship Program matches young professionals and students under 35 years old ("Mentees") with experienced professionals ("Mentors") for guidance and support. It is a 12-month program that provides diverse professionals with one-on-one mentoring, leadership training, and networking opportunities for career advancement.    
• Mentees will receive guidance on resume and interview preparation, potential job referrals, career development advice, and networking opportunities, and learn about goal setting, communication skills, and project management.
• Mentors and mentees will be matched based on similarities in their work background and goals/interests. Each mentor will have 1-3 mentees; each mentee will have one mentor but can also talk to and learn from other mentors. CAEPA Mentors' short bios can be viewed at the link below.

 

Program Details:

• At least one meeting per quarter with the mentor
• One career panel discussion for career development
• Quarterly technical seminars
• Annual end-of-year graduation event
• A completion certificate will be awarded to mentees who will complete track requirements

 

Cost:

$60 for professionals and $30 for students (including two-year CAEPA membership).
