"Digester feedstocks at EBMUD contain grit from trucked waste and primary sludge. Left unaddressed, grit can damage solids handling infrastructure and impact plant operation. EBMUD and BC piloted technologies to evaluate screening and grit removal performance of equipment treating trucked FOG waste and 6% TS blended sludge."
